Scholarships

TPRC encourages attendance from a wide range of academic, nonprofit, government and industry organizations.  We have limited funds available to provide travel and hotel expense assistance for non-tenured faculty and representatives of not-for-profit public interest groups.  All are welcome to apply.  Preference will be given to those who have not attended previously.

To apply for a scholarship, please e-mail your request to the Program Committee at cannon@cybertelecom.org with the subject "TPRC Scholarship."   State your affiliation, your areas of research or interest in Internet and telecoms policy, and your reason for seeking funding.  Please specify whether you will need travel assistance, hotel assistance, or both.

All applications must be received by August 26, 2002. The Program Committee will notify all applicants by the end of the first week in September of the outcome of their application.

All air and train reservations will be made directly by our travel agency.  Automobile mileage will be considered ($0.30 per mile) for distances of up to 600 miles round-trip.
